The Tubus Extension Adapter is specifically designed to lift a Tubus rear rack by 3/4″ to 1″ for higher clearance when using larger wheels such as 29″. The extension set is easy to install and adjust and is the perfect accessory when extra height is needed.

Great product

The tubus extension kit was perfect for raising my rear bike rack a bit higher and further back to provide sufficient clearance for a wider taller knobby tire. Easy to install. While this kit is intended for Tubus brand rear bike racks, it worked fine on my bike rack also. See the pic. We did end up buying separately a couple of shorter metric bolts, but they were inexpensive at Ace hardware. I am so happy with the outcome.
