Sawyer

Bikepacking trips often have us venturing down paths far from municipal plumbing, drinking fountains, and water dispensers.  Out in the middle of nowhere, with few refueling stops, sipping water from that cool, clear stream next to your camp may seem like another great moment in an epic trip.  But, gut-seeking microbes, unseen to the naked eye sometimes lurk in such water sources and at such times a water filtration system can be your best friend, making sure you spend more time biking and less time squatting.

What we love about Sawyer filters is their simplicity: just fill your water container with dirty water, screw a Sawyer filter on top of the container, and… Squeeze. Because they are squeeze-action filters, they don’t have as many working parts to break compared to the pump and gravity alternatives.
