Our Warranty Policy

At Campfire Cycling we sell the best cycling and outdoor gear that is designed for many years of adventuring.  All of our products are covered by some form of manufacturer warranty.  While we must work within the constrain of the manufacturer’s warranty, we only offer products that we feel offer a reasonable level of support.

We can work directly with you to process any of your warranty claims.  In some cases, it might be more convenient to process warranties directly with the manufacturer.  See the “Recommended Warranty Processing” for each brand in the Warranty Detail by Brand section below.

Warranty Limitations – Here are some things that are NOT covered by warranty
  • Normal wear and tear from regular long-term usage.
  • Issues resulting from a crash or other impact.
  • Issues resulting from improper maintenance.
  • Issues from improper mounting or use other than intended for the product.
  • Warranty coverage only applies to the original purchaser of the product.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Email us at info@CampfireCycling.com and include the following:
    • Your Campfire Cycling Order # or an image of the receipt.
    • Your current return address.
    • Your warranty claim with all important details about the product issue.
    • Attached photo or photos that show the product issue.
  2. Upon receiving your claim, we will begin processing.
    • We’ll acknowledge the claim within 1 business day and let you know if we need any more information.
    • Please allow 1-2 weeks for our initial review of the claim.
      • For some claims, we’re able to verify it ourselves while others require communication with the manufacturer.
  3. We’ll proceed with the initial review of the claim:
    • If your claim is denied, we’ll explain why and let you know if we can offer any options for discounts or paid repairs.
    • If your claim is confirmed, we will email you a return shipping label or in some cases proceed with sending you a replacement without receiving the item back.
  4. Upon receiving the warrantied item back, we will confirm the warranty claim.
    • In the rare occasion that a warranty is denied in the inspection process, we will communicate this to you and return the item if you would like it.
  5. After the final warranty verification, we proceed with either sending you a replacement or repairing and returning the repaired item.

BOB Trailers
  • BOB Trailer frames and forks are backed by a 5-year warranty against defects in material and manufacturing. Other BOB Trailer parts and accessories are backed by a 1-year warranty.
  • Please see BOB’s warranty details to review their limitations. While these details only refer to the BOB stroller, their terms are applied to the trailers as well.

  • All Carradice Bags are backed by a 2-year warranty against defects in material and manufacturing.
  • All Extrawheel products are backed by a 5-year warranty against defects in material and manufacturing.
  • All MSR products are backed by a 3-year limited warranty.

  • All Ortlieb Bags are backed by a 5-year warranty against defects in material and manufacturing.

  • All Revelate Designs Bags are backed by warranty against defects in material and manufacturing.
  • Revelate Designs warranty policy (we apply these same standards):Revelate bags are made from high quality materials and will stand up to the use for which they are designed. In standing by this guarantee, Revelate Designs provides a warranty to the original owner on all products purchased through authorized sources against defects in materials and workmanship. If any issue arises regarding materials or workmanship please contact us (Revelate Designs) via email for evaluation and return instructions. If an item is found to be under warranty we(Revelate Designs) will repair or replace at our discretion, free of charge. We (Revelate Designs) require a dated proof of purchase.What the Revelate Designs warranty doesn’t cover: damages involving zipper wear, general wear and tear, improper use & improper mounting (seat bag damage due to tire hits or tire-rub holes, handlebar damage), alterations made by owner, damages due to accident or caused by uses other than intended. Bikepacking gear is intended for off road use and ultimate adventures. Constant use or heavy intermittent use will cause your bags to develop character. If your bag needs extra love, we (Revelate Designs) will do our best to repair it at a reasonable cost (labor & materials) and put it back in service.All items sent for repair assessment must be clean. Bags should be hand wash and hang dried (washer/dryer agitation can cause additional damage). Soiled bags will not be assessed and will be returned for cleaning.

  • All Tubus Racks are backed by a 10-year warranty against defects in material and manufacturing.
  • Tubus also offers a 3-year Mobile Guarantee. To qualify, send in the registration card that comes with your rack. Tubus will air-mail a replacement rack anywhere in the world if the rack breaks during normal use. This is great peace of mind for cycle tourists traveling to far-off corners of the world.
  • All Vargo Cookwear is backed “forever” against defects in material and manufacturing.
