Overview
The Hook EXT C comes complete with a carbon frame and V2 carbon fork with triple cage mounts for speedier off-road raids. Sram provide the bike’s 10 – 42T XD cassette for a great range of gears, so you can keep the pace high over whichever surface you decide to tear across.
Hunt handle the hoops, providing the bike with a tubeless-ready Adventure Sport 27.5’’ wheelset. Finished with head-turning tan-wall WTB Venture tyres, onlookers will have to be quick if they want to catch a glimpse as you fly through the undergrowth. It comes in this year’s glossy metallic black colourway, too.
Features
The bike is constructed with a Toray T800 carbon blend frame, offering a lightweight and robust design, complete with through-axle compatibility, and mounts for racks and fenders.
It features an 85.5 mm T47 bottom bracket shell, a universal derailleur hanger (UDH), and options for fully internal cable routing, including internal routing for a hub dynamo.
Its Seido MGV full carbon fork complements the frame with through-axle support, mounts for fenders and triple cages, compatibility with 180 mm rotors, and suitability for lowrider racks. Like the frame, it also includes internal routing for a hub dynamo.
Gear shifting is managed by Sram Rival 1 double tap hydraulic levers, facilitating a 1 x 11 drivetrain with seamless transitions.
Braking is provided by Sram Rival flat mount hydraulic disc brakes, ensuring reliable stopping power under various conditions.
