In a continuation of the wildly popular Tales and Adventures in the Desert Series, in collaboration with Road Runner Bicycles; we present the next installment: “Bonded by Bike”

The land and (mis)adventures has a way of connecting people and building deep long lasting bonds, or possibly driving them apart. In the 2nd installment of “Tales of Adventure in the Desert” we partnered to bring you these stories of building relationships. Join us and 6 choice presenters who will be telling these tales

We have space for 60 look-e-loos. So Register fast to listen to these amazing storytellers, spin yarns of love and adventure in our homelands.

Here’s the synopsis of the presenters:

Caroline and Ryan: Learn what brought them together, lessons from risk to reward over multiple trips.

Elliot:  Stories of love, friendship and camaraderie in the outdoors.

Deidre: An individual’s journey of self discovery through coaching, education, bicycle advocacy and sharing a deep love for the Sonoran Desert with others.

Marci: Learn about the bond between a girl, a bike and the desert in this cardboard cut out presentation!

Blix: Salt Tears – A once in a lifetime permit was pulled for the Salt River. The water was high and so were emotions. Rafting down an unfamiliar river with folks I wasn’t familiar with? It sent my brain into overdrive, picking apart the details, questioning if my skills would be enough, wondering if the whole thing would implode. The river has a way of bringing out the best and worst of us. But we keep going back. And coming out of those canyons a different human.

Angie:  When an old flame invites you on a backpacking honeymoon in Baja you obviously say yes… right?

Thank you, and we hope you will join us for this vibrant new community tradition!
