Rear Rack Mounting Systems

Evo Upper Mounts
  • Includes 2 x 240mm length Tubus Roundstays.
  • Two roundstay attachment points with multi-directional adjustments allow for optimal connection to the majority of upper eyelet configurations.
    • Roundstays slide forward and back.
    • Horizontal position allows Roundstays to slide side to side.
    • Horizontal position allows Roundstays to rotate horizontally.
    • Vertical position allows Roundstays to rotate vertically.
    • For both horizontal and vertical positions, the roundstay can be mounted on the inside or outside as needed.
    • Can be replaced with different length Tubus Roundstays as required.
  • Adaptable to mount the rack to the majority of bicycle’s upper eyelet configurations.
  • The two Roundstay attachment points are a simpler, lighter-weight design compared to the top mounting plate with Roundstay Clamps
  • After easy adjustment, the clamps lock the Roundstays firmly in place for a rigid, secure connection.
  • For bicycles without upper eyelets, Tubus Seat Stay Mounts can sometimes be used instead.
Classic Upper Mounts
  • Includes 2 x 240mm length Tubus Roundstays.
  • Includes 2 x Tubus Roundstay Clamps.
  • Multi-directional adjustment for optimal connection to the  majority of upper eyelet configurations.
    • Roundstays slide forward and back.
    • Roundstay Clamps slide side to side.
    • Roundstay Clamps rotate horizontally.
    • Roundstay Clamps rotate vertically.
    • Can be replaced with different length Tubus Roundstays as required.
  • Adaptable to mount the rack to the majority of bicycle’s upper eyelet configurations.
  • After easy adjustment, the Roundstay Clamps lock the Roundstays firmly in place for a rigid, secure connection.
  • For bicycles without upper eyelets, Tubus Seat Stay Mounts can be used instead.
Single Upper Mount
  • Includes 1 x 240mm length Tubus Roundstays.
  • Single Roundstay has several mounting options.
    • Can mount to the hole in the brake bridge between the seatstays.
    • Can mount to a road bicycle with caliper brakes, sharing the mounting hole.
    • Can mount to one of the upper eyelets when used in combination with the Tubus Roundstay Offset.
  • Multi-directional adjustment.
    • Roundstay slides forward and back.
    • Roundstay rotates horizontally.
    • Roundstay can be bent to allow for reaching mounting positions.
    • Can be replaced with different length Tubus Roundstays as required.
  • Though not as rigid as two roundstay mounting, it can be setup for a rigid, secure connection.
  • For bicycles without upper eyelets or suitable attachment points on the brakes or brake bridge, a single Tubus Seat Stay Mount can be used instead.
Evo Lower Mounts
  • Utilizes a 3D investment casting dropout.
    • Incredibly strong, engineered for handling high loads.
    • Offset to place the lower ends of the rack’s vertical tubes away from your bike’s seatstays.
  • Single bolt hole design require bicycles to have lower mounting eyelets.
  • Upper slot of 3D dropout can be utilized for hooking a pannier hook to.
Classic Lower Mounts
  • Utilizes a machined, flat-plate dropout.
    • Included spacer discs are used in combination with the M5 mounting bolts to offset the lower ends of the rack’s vertical tubes away from your bike’s seatstays.
  • Two-bolt hole design allow this rack to interface with the following adapters.
  • Upper hole can be utilized for fender mounting.
Disco Lower Mounts
  • Designed to mount to bicycles with a quick release on the rear wheel.
  • Solves the following rack compatibility issues.
    • Bicycle frames with disc brakes mounted on the top of the seatstay.
    • Bicycle frames without lower eyelets.
      • Alternatively, Tubus racks with Classic Lower Mounts can be used in combination with the Tubus QR Adapter to solve this issue.
  • Included quick release is longer than standard quick releases to allow for extra width of the Disco’s dropouts and spacers.
  • Utilizes a machined, flat-plate dropout.

Front Rack Mounting Systems

Tara Upper Mounts
  • Easy to mount with a variety of eyelet configurations.
    • The mounting arm rotates up and down.
    • M5 bolts mounts to the mid-fork eyelet through a slot which allows for variation in the bolt’s position.
  • For bicycles without mid-fork eyelets, compatible with the Tubus Mid-Fork Eyelet Adapters.
  • Please Note:  There is some variability in where bicycle manufactures place their mid-fork eyelets in relation to the lower eyelets.  Additionally variations in various aspects of fork geometry means that even with the built-in adjustability, you may not get your rack top-rails perfectly level.  Don’t worry.  Your packs will stay mounted securely even if your rack is not level.
Duo Upper Mounts
  • Designed to mount to forks with either through-the-fork mid-fork mounting eyelets or matching inside and outside mid-fork eyelets.
  • Inner and outer connecting arms with slotted bolt mounts allowing for variation in the racks position.
  • The distance between the upper and lower brazed-on fork fittings should be 165mm (+/- 3mm).
  • Please Note:  There is some variability in where bicycle manufactures place their mid-fork eyelets in relation to the lower eyelets.  Additionally variations in various aspects of fork geometry means that even with the built-in adjustability, you may not get your rack top-rails perfectly level.  Don’t worry.  Your packs will stay mounted securely even if your rack is not level.
Tubus Lower Mounts
  • Requires lower eyelets on the fork.
  • The mount’s lower bolt hole is for mounting to the fork’s lower eyelet.
  • The mount’s upper bolt hole can be used for mounting fenders directly to the rack.

Material & Construction

Steel Tubing
  • Hollow chromoly steel tubing, 25CroMo4.
  • Fillet brazed construction.
  • Powder-coated finish resists corrosion.
    • A pre-finish is applied to the steel tubes before powder-coating, making the tubes even more rust-resistant.
Stainless Steel Tubing
  • Hollow stainless steel tubing.
  • TIG welded construction.
  • Media blasted finish.
Titanium Tubing
  • Hollow titanium tubing.
  • TIG welded construction.
  • Media blasted finish.
