Ready for Misadventure – Gift Pack

When the going gets silly, strange, surreal or any version of unplanned, its good to be prepared.  We’ve selected a few essentials that you or your love one might not think about regularly, but could sure use on a day of misadventure.

Adventure Ultralight/Watertight .3 Medical Kit

The Ultralight/Watertight .3 is the smallest first aid kit that Adventure Medical Kits have to offer. Being so tiddly, it is ideal for one person, out on a 1- to 2-day solo bikepacking adventure when you require just the essentials.

What we love about the Watertight .3 is how compact yet capable it is. At 6″ x 5.25″ x 1.25″ thick and 2.32 oz, it can be stowed neatly in any bikepacking bag pocket and remain almost invisible - until needed.

SOL Emergency Bivvy

If you’re forced to spend an unexpected night outdoors, on the side of the road, or in your home without heat, count on the Survive Outdoors Longer® Emergency Bivvy to keep you warm and dry. Made from tear-resistant, aluminum-coated polyethylene, this bivvy reflects 90% of your body heat back to you, providing life-saving warmth, and is sealed to protect you from wind, rain, and snow.

Sawyer Mini

Small enough to fit in the smallest daypacks, the Mini can filter up to 100,000 gallons of water, and considering we need to drink around 1/2 a gallon per day, this filter should last an entire lifetime, making it the perfect bikepacking water filter.

What we love about the Mini is how versatile it is, offering 4 different ways of using it that you can choose between depending on the situation at hand. The Mini can be used with a squeeze pouch, directly as a filter straw, screwed onto a water bottle, or as an inline filter in conjunction with your hydration bladder.
