Overview
This thread-together bottom bracket creates a solid, creak-free interface in press-fit frames by pulling the cups together across the shell for better alignment and longer bearing life. Hybrid AL6061 and nylon fiber cups improve fit and reduce noise, while low-friction dual seals protect the premium sealed bearings from dirt and moisture. The bearings are serviceable and replaceable for long-term use, and the design allows BB30 Wide or BB386 30 mm spindle cranks to be installed in PF30 or BB386 frames (minimum spindle length: 104 mm for 68 mm shells, 108 mm for 73 mm shells). Nylon composite bottom bracket tools are recommended during installation to avoid cup damage.
