My IRO

I finally got a chance today to take some proper shots of my new ride, an IRO Mark V. I’m riding this bike exclusively now, and getting back on a bike with a freewheel is already very disconcerting to me. Enjoy!

I’m in love with this bike. I knew some people preferred steel frames to aluminum, but now I can see why. It doesn’t make much of a difference with big tires or shocks, and even less when you can stand on your cranks for the bumps, but with 700c 23 tires and without the option to coast over the bumps, I am grateful to be riding steel. A bike like this with an aluminum frame feels jittery.
