I do an awufl lot of miles … and I’m not skinny.
And… take a look at this post on the Team Estrogen board. This chick just did a 600K -yea, 370 miles – and … the photo at the bottom speaks for itself.

On Yesterday’s club ride, we arrived at our coffee-shop destination and Skinny Bob was shivering madly, hands numb inside their insulated gloves. I peeled off my little knit novelty gloves that were all I could find that morning… no numbness, no chills.

I find insulation to be a good thing, myself!
