Warranty
Platypus Limited Warranty
Coverage: Original purchasers using the product as intended. Misuse, lack of maintenance, or alteration voids the warranty.
Product Lifetime: Warranty lasts until the product can no longer be used safely or effectively, not the owner’s lifetime. Usage, care, and maintenance affect this timeline.
Handling Issues: For defective items (not caused by misuse or poor maintenance), we’ll repair or replace. If the product can’t be fixed or is discontinued, we may offer a similar replacement.
What’s Not Included: Wear and tear, damage from misuse, alterations, or lack of maintenance.
Out of Warranty Repairs: We can often repair products not covered under warranty for a reasonable fee, including shipping.
Exclusions
This warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear or misuse. It’s for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship only.
Modifications, neglect, or improper maintenance voids the warranty.
The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to purchases from authorized Platypus retailers.
Limitations
This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights which vary by region.
Platypus’s liability is limited to the product’s purchase price. We’re not responsible for any consequential damages.
This is the only warranty offered by Platypus, replacing all other warranties, express or implied.
