So much kindness & care

We had a terrible experience at another local bikeshop, which was so disappointing as that place came highly recommended -- and we drove 5 hrs just for our bike appointment at this other shop (and were counting on having our bikes tuned for the rest of our trip). We walked into Campfire to see if they'd be able to help us after the fallout -- and despite being super slammed and us having no appointment, Toby and Jake were very generous and made time for our two bikes. They were the kindest and most caring humans and helped us out big time so we could ride around Tucson that same evening. The service was top quality and our bikes were cruising in no time. Despite the long drive to Tucson, we will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Going Tubeless

Please bikepack your way straight to Campfire. Or walk if you don't have a bike yet. Or drive your rack of four bikes. However you get there, if you already love bikes, or are bike-curious, Campfire will help you out. I am a bike enthusiast, which is to say I love being on and around bikes, but I do not know all the things about bike maintenance. All my very savvy bike friends had been telling me to go tubeless, and I said no, and then I moved to the spikey desert, and the friends said "no, really- you need to go tubeless." I thought it would be too expensive and that the bike shop would look down their snobby noses at me. Luckily I chose Campfire, and I can tell you they don't have snobby noses, they just have big heaps of love for bikes and joy for helping people enjoy their bikes. They turned two bikes (Santa Cruz 29er and Felt gravel bike) tubeless with such kindness and mechanical skill. And the price was way lower than I expected. Thank you!!

Pack and Ship Service

I was spending a few weeks in Tucson in my camper van and needed to ship a bike that was with the van back to my girlfriend in Virginia. Initially I was just going to ask Campfire if they had a box I could have/purchase, but I'm glad I decided to ask if they'd just handle the whole thing for me. They use Bike Flights to ship the bikes(UPS) and that's exactly what I'd have used and is a fixed cost that I would have ended up paying anyway. The cost to package the bike up was only $60, which I found to be super reasonable considering the amount of time and hassle it saved me--especially while on the road. Back in VA I was the one to unpack and re-assemble the bike and I was very impressed with the job Campfire did in making sure the bike was go to go for a trip across the country. I found the staff to be very friendly and the vibe of the shop is great. 10/10 would recommended and Campfire is now my go to shop in Tucson. Thanks to my CC friends and I'll see you in January!
